Convenience fee

Our products are priced based on cash or check payment.  We also don't ship, as all products are to be picked up at our East Tennessee locations unless we have discussed delivery and/or set-up to you.  To use a credit card, due to this shopping cart's inability to incorporate this, I have created this method for you to use your credit card and make the payment for the credit card fee we incur.  This fee is exactly the fee we pay for the credit card service.  Our products have low margin to begin with so we cannot eat 3%, yet we realize it is convenient for our customers and inventory is often low and our customers want to confirm they can get, for example, our last blind in stock, so they wish to pay with credit card and know that it is theirs.  If this describes you, please pay for the product you want in a normal fashion and then add 3% of the purchase price of your items to the line item for this, the credit card fee and then adjust the quantity according to the dollars owed for the credit card service.  Example: $4,000 blind would equal $120 in credit card fees, so you simply change the quantity of the CC convenience fee to qty: 120 which will equal $120 in your shopping card and then checkout.

Taxes: We have to charge sales tax of 9.75% also, unless you have a farm exempt card.  See the other item in our product page for a similar way to calculate this or skip it if you have a farm sales tax exemption.
